How I approach it

I want to be careful with this term, because it has been used to sell some very large treatment plans. Balancing is a way of thinking about a face. It is not a package, and it should not arrive as a quote for five syringes at a first appointment.

What it means when I use it is that I spend the consultation on proportion before I decide where anything goes. Upper, middle, and lower face. Front view and profile. Which feature is actually driving the thing that bothers you, which is very often not the feature you pointed at.

And I stage it. This appointment covers two areas, deliberately, because I want to see how your face redistributes after the first change before deciding whether it needs the next. If you want everything done at once, I'm probably the wrong injector for you, and I'd rather say that now.

What to expect

The appointment: A longer consultation, front and profile photos, then treatment across two areas.
Days 1 to 3: Swelling, which can be uneven between the areas treated.
Week 2: Settling. The relationship between the areas starts to read properly.
Week 4: Final result, and the point to compare against your profile photo rather than your memory.
Later visits: If a third area would help, we plan it from what we learned, not from the original guess.

When I'd tell you not to

If you want your whole face treated in one appointment, I won't do it. Not because it's unsafe, but because nobody can assess a result while four things are swelling at once.
If you've brought a photo of someone whose bone structure is fundamentally different from yours, I'll be honest about which parts of that are achievable and which aren't.
If one well-chosen area would get you most of the way, I'll suggest that instead and save you the second one.
