For providers and creators

More from Sally.

I'm married to someone who builds software, which means a fair number of our conversations start with me complaining about a workflow. Two of the things below came out of that. The third one is mine.

Mentorship and consulting

Two things, really. For injectors: the parts nobody trains you on. Consultation, assessment, treatment planning, and how to tell a patient that less is the right answer without losing them.

And for anyone opening their own place: I've owned the medspa and I've closed the medspa. If you're building something, I'll tell you what I'd do differently, from someone who has been there and has the scars to prove it. Available on request.

Ask me about EMRs

When I had my own medspa, and at the one I worked at for six years before Meesha, we ran on paper. Which honestly worked fine when I was solo and didn't have a ton of patients.

But the technology exists now, and there's no reason to make your life harder than it needs to be. My husband is building practice software for aesthetics providers: charting, injection mapping, clinical photos, scheduling, inventory, and all the small workflow problems the traditional systems make worse than they need to be. If you have opinions about what an EMR should actually do, he'd genuinely like to hear them. So would I.

The tool my husband built for my content

I kept trying to run my educational content out of a generic calendar and a notes app, and it kept falling apart on me. So he built something around the way I actually plan and capture ideas between patients. It's still coming together.
